Cousin Dan......

Some pictures of the children with their cousin Dan....of course Sam refused to be a part of it lol!! But yes my Nephew is here safe and sound - and I am proud to say I drove to the airport and picked him up all by myself!!!! :)

He has been here just a few hours but has already had his first double-double and some timbits!!!!

Delayed

I just checked again and the flight is delayed 20 minutes...not long so thats ok.....

Daniel is in the air...

So my Nephew Daniel arrives today and we are all very excited.....Abigail can't wait for us to leave for the airport - she keeps asking me questions about Daniel that I have no clue how to answer!!

Someone left the door from the garage to the house open today and now the house stinks of garbage lol - the garbage goes tomorrow so there is a weeks worth in there :( NOT good...

I took pictures of my layout....coloured my hair (I am sure I will look old enough to Dan without showing him how many grey hairs I have lol) and have been reading ther boards at scrappershaven (also added my entries for this weeks contest..just the card to do now!)

I posted on LP about my Nephew coming too.....

Last night Lloyd and I went into town for coffee......we sat in Timmys for a while and then did some shopping in Sobeys (groceries).....picked up a few things for Daniel to try......and some pizza for a quick dinner tonight in case Dan is tired or the plane was delayed (it isn't)

I am going to go and get showered and dressed now, make a quick lunch and then we will head off around 12:30pm...I'm going early so I have time to take Abigail and Sam up to the departure lounge to watch the planes....


Sigh....last time we were at the airport during the day, it was to fly to Florida!!!! :( I wanna go back!!!

Mind you, last time I was at the aiport proper, was when we came back and I was soooooo ill I was in a wheel chair......

I hope Dans flight went well.....

My layout for Iron Chef...

So yesterday I accomplished a lot really - I finished my sunflower mini album and then I finished a layout using tags and stamps......here it is - it's pictures of the dragonflies that I took last summer.....I rubber stamped and embossed the tag and also the garden fence which I then coloured in with watercolour pencils.....I finished the layout off by doodling flowers over the whole page and adding a touch of glitter to remind you of the dragonfly's wings....
