Ice skating

Skating is A's latest craze - she had skates for her birthday this week and she wants lessons in the Fall.....yesterday we took advantage of the gorgeous weather, and went out skating on the pond in town.

Happy Valentines Day card.....

A wrote this card late on Thursday night. It reads:

I thought it was really sweet - I didn't know she was making it and she wrote it all with no help :) A doesn't like to write much but the last week or so she seems to be doing a LOT of writing. I got my Peggy Kaye book of Games for Writing yesterday and can't wait to get started on some of them :)

Soaking up the rays.....

Jasper and cairo sunning themselves on the barbecue yesterday. Once the kitchen is finished and the back deck is done we will be able to have the bbq on the back deck off the kitchen AT LAST - no more bbq on the front porch :)
