Abby - it's time to go!!!!!
I love this picture of Abigail :) It shows her fiery independent nature :) And her green green eyes :)
Little Madam ;)
Fun in the sun...
Today we picked up a friend of Lauries and headed out to a pool at a local Campground - it's only 10 or 15 minutes along the highway from us and has a lovely outdoor pool open to the public for day use. As I've mentioned before, I LOVE outdoor pools, and we ALL love to swim, so everyone was happy to spend the day poolside!
We swam for a while and then when everyone got hungry we'd head to one of the picnic areas for lunch and then to the playground for a while, then we'd head back to the pool, shower off and swim for a while again, then when everyone was hungry again we'd head off for another picnic again :)
We were there more than 5 hours in all and loved every minute :) We've booked to camp there before the end of Summer and I'm really looking forward to that :)
This mornings alarm clock :)
This morning I was woken by yet more feathered babies! This time it was our Swallow babies! Remember we had barn swallows nesting in Lloyds workshop? The male would circle the workshop in the evening protectively when we were out by the firepit and if we were inside it would often come in and sit on the light fan thingy and watch us.
Well they had about 5 or 6 babies (hard to count as they move so fast!!!) and this morning they are out flying around the front yard and singing and sitting on the garage roof outside my bedroom window chatting to their siblings :) They are the CUTEST things ever :) As you will see from the little one in the below video clip :)
Oh to be woken by such things every day :)
I will try and get the Goldfinch babies on video before they leave too!
