Not Boris :(

The new tiger cubs are sooooo big now, and were lazing about in their pen like typical zoo tigers ;)  We tried doing the trick we used to do with the old tiger, Boris.  We used to get the children to stand with their backs to his pen and he would pounce on them - up against the window!  It was so much fun and he would do it again and again!!!  :)  The zoo keepers taught us how to do it!

We tried this with the cubs but they weren't interested :(

We're going to the zoo, zoo, zoo......

......actually we WENT to the zoo - this afternoon :)

We wanted to go out for an afternoon walk somewhere but couldn't decide where, and then I suggested the zoo and everyone else seemed to like the idea, so off we went!  We were only there a couple of hours, but it was enough time for a Fall walk and to enjoy some of the animals there :)

The zoo still needs an awful lot of improvements, but each time I go now, I am impressed by the developments there and I am ALWAYS impressed by the caring staff - you can see how much they love their jobs and love the animals they are caring for....

They ARE working hard to improve the zoo and thats a very good thing :)  We always have a great time there no matter what time of year it is.....

Lindt Lindor....

I had the Festive dinner or whatever it's called, which I ordered especially to get the cute little house filled with Lindor chocolates.

 I don't like these (I know - me - not liking chocolate!!!  It's a shock huh???)

Well, I ordered these especially for Lloyd because he loves them :)

Oh Christmas Tree......

We went to the zoo today and on the way home we stopped for dinner at Swiss Chalet.  I was really surprised to see it all decked out for Christmas already!!  It was lovely though - especially as I have been in such a festive mood this week :)

Chocolate Heaven......

These little glass pots of chocolate mousse are little pots of heaven....available from Presidents Choice at the amazingly low price of $4 for TWO!!!!  I swear I have never tasted anything so incredible!!!!

I am soooo tempted to go straight down and get the other one.....sigh....

My advice - go get some while they last - because if I have my way i'll be back there in the next couple of days buying them by the cart-full ;)

Chris (my 16 year old Son) made this movie in his room last night....using up some of that excess Halloween candy ;)
