Headers..

My first attempt at creating a header for my blog.  It's far too narrow and I don't like the design much but I'm happy with it for a first attempt!!  :)

More practice needed!!   I'm loving digital :)  Can you tell???

Tomorrow is the big day - the Olympic torch comes through our town :)  Yay!!!

Little Blue Tit....

This stunning picture of a Blue Tit (relation of our Chickadees) was taken by my friend Lynne's Dad, Tom.  It was taken in Scotland and was actually shown on Scottish Television!!!  The little bird was in the midst of picking up a peanut!!!

English Robin...

This picture was taken by Lloyds Dad of a Robin in their garden.....isn't he a cute little Robin?  They are sooo much nicer than the American Robins we get here - although we are very attached to our Robin families we have at home here now - they return to us each year and we watch them eat up the worms from the lawn after rainstorms....they nest here and have their babies each year...

But there is nothing like seeing an English Robin on a Christmas card :)
