See!

Rosie will pose where I want her to AND smile for the camera :)

Shame her coat is so messy lol - she has a really thick coat and because of all her swimming all summer long it gets full of matts constantly!

My gorgeous Amber-girl.....

Amber is rather like Sam and will often refuse to look at the camera and as soon as she sees the camera she looks away.....Rosie is the opposite and loves the camera :)

This mornings walk

Some pictures of my Rosie-girl on this mornings walk...

Charlynn.....

Thank you! I'll watch Cityline this afternoon and see :) We certainly always have plenty of 2 by 4's here :) Lloyd seems to need them for all his projects :)

Lynne!

Lynne,

I'm so so sorry to hear about your precious little Niece being stillborn. I just can't imagine how sad and traumatic that must be for your whole family!

I hope the hospital was a good one that knew how to really help and support your brother and his Wife through the birth and afterwards. I have heard so many stories of both good and bad experiences (well, not that it can ever be a good experience...but supportive)

Cheryl, who also sometimes reads my blog, works with many many families who have had a stillborn baby or lost a baby in the early months (as she herself has, twice)....if you would like any suggestions of books or anything that could help I am sure Cheryl would have plenty of answers and advice!

You and your family are in my thoughts.

Turning thirteen.....

Happy 13th Birthday to Val's Daughter K.......I hope you've had a wonderful day (and weekend too!) and that 13 is a very VERY lucky number for you :)

Lots of love from all of us over here including Charlie :) oink oink :)

Making gingerbread cookies......

Rosie posy in the snow!

Sat waiting for the children to come home from school....

Little Gingerbread man!

Sam made gingerbread cookies this afternoon...he did such a great job! He even carried his own tray over to the oven for me :)

This was a roll of Pillsbury's gingerbread dough and I have to tell you its fab stuff! So nice and easy to keep in the fridge and then bring out when the children want to do a craft or some baking! They get to play with it like playdough and then bake and eat the end results :)

And it smells soooooo great - like pumpkin pie....and tastes great when baked - not like that nasty rock hard gingerbread you sometimes get :)

Special ornament!

Chris put this ornament on the tree.....I bought it in the Christmas store in the Magic Kingdom when we were in Florida....my special Disney ornament :)

Decorating the tree.....

A few pictures of the children decorating their tree...I think next year when we get a bigger tree the kids can have our current main tree......then maybe the little one can just be an extra for somewhere......

I need a 'swag'...

Is that what its called? I want a swag if fir tree branches to hang across the mantel and down the sides....I want to move all the little ornaments on the mantel piece off and have a big chunky swag of fir instead.....but I can't find one I like anywhere! So I will keep looking!

By the way, the baseboards and crown molding won't be finished until the new kitchen and sunroom are done next summer - so yet another Christmas without them.....so just try to ignore that lol! The big Christmas tree is in this room above, but it isn't fully decorated yet so I haven't taken pictures of it yet.....

A new week :)

I hope you all had a good weekend...ours was really nice - relaxing and fun...we decorated the Christmas trees, watched some Christmasy movies, went to the cinema and that was about it really :)

Yesterday we were supposed to have an electrician here for the day - the husband of someone at LP...well he never showed up!!!! We've not had any replies from leaving phone messages either :( It's frustrating!!! I hope they are ok....and nothing bad happened to cause them to not come. But surely a phone call wouldn't have hurt? I guess as long as they are ok then thats what matters......Lloyd got all the money out on Saturday to pay him and as he was going to be here for 8am yesterday, Chris had to be up and dressed ready as some of the work was to happen in his bedroom......ah well, we didn't have anything else planned for the day except the cinema, so it didn't spoil the day.....Lloyd had the chance to catch up on some of his paper work while I went out....

Today I stayed home and got some chores down around here - washed the floors, laundry, bathrooms etc etc after the weekend.....tonight I think we have to run into Costco to get some groceries...

Tomorrow Susannah has to go for her abdominal ultrasound which means she can't eat after 8pm tonight and has to have a fat free meal tonight.....then no water after 5am.......she has to be there for 8am.....I'm giving her the rest of the day off of school so maybe we will go to Lets Play or somewhere fun...

Wednesday is parentlink where I am hoping to meet Samanthas Mom! Then Laurence has a party in the afternoon that includes a sleigh ride and gingerbread house decorating at Birch Bay Ranch!!!

Thursday is breakfast at Esso with Val and Lucy (hopefully!!)...Friday is the homeschoolers Christmas party at the library :) it will eb good to catch up with Jennifer and Cheryl :)

Thats our week - have a good one everyone!

I think I have a new....

Favourite movie......

My sleeves were very soggy by the end of this movie from drying my eyes :)

Yesterday I took Laurie, Susie and Abigail to see 'Enchanted' and wow - I just loved this movie.....it just took me back to Disney World and seeing the girls meet all the Princesses.....the way they talk and walk and dance and smile and wave.....

And the fairy tale stories of falling in love with your Prince Charming and the happily ever afters :)

LOVED IT :)

A tag book for a friend...

My friend Samantha gave me four MASSIVE packs of coloured tags last week - she thought I could use them for something at preschool or for scrapbooking! Well, I LOVE them and thought as a little thank you I would make a little tag book for her :) I can't wait to give it to her when I see her next :) It's full of quotes about friendship. I picked the bright colours because they are Samanthas favourite colours :) There are more pages than I took pictures of...I didn't photograph them all :)
