Lloyd has named his tractor Bertha!!! He wanted to call it Dorothy but he can't - my Orchid is called Dorothy!
Preparing the vegetable garden
Ok Jennifer, I think Lloyd is now obsessed - he decided today that he needed to clear the snow from the vegetable garden so that it melts there faster and we can get it dug up and add the new soil he is ordering.....I tried explaining that its only February and we tend to get more snow in March than any other month but he seemed to think it was still a good idea.....I guess he had fun anyway :) The snow drifts are to the top of our raspberry bushes!!! You can only see the very tops of the tallest ones! The strawberry patch is completely gone lol!
Charlie....
Charlie has been on the porch all morning, enjoying the good weather :) We used a bed base for a catwalk yesterday at the party, and now it is sitting on the porch waiting to be moved - so Charlie has decided it makes a nice place to lounge about on all day :)
Family day....
A lovely lazy day so far - although if Lloyd had his way we would be up, dressed and busy doing things by 7am groooooaaaaan but I got my way for a while and we sat in bed watching tv and drinking coffee until 10am :)

Apart from that we are just relaxing at home - we may go for a drive out to Elk Island later....but most probably will hang out here instead.

Lauries new jacket...
Laurie in the jacket he bought today. He has now gone to a friends for the evening to watch a WWF wrestling thing on pay per view with them all....and yes, he wore his new jacket!
Party food......
The girls LOVED the Champagne glasses and each took theirs home - they lifted their glasses to Susie :) Instead of wine they had grape juice and 7Up!!! Although the way some of the girls were giggling and falling all over the place it seemed they had REALLY been on the Champagne :)

Some pictures from Susannahs 10th birthday party today! I will write more over the next few days but I'm tired now and can't be bothered lol!
It was a great afternoon and I even got to have coffee with Val :)
Lloyd took the boys to West Edmonton Mall for lunch at Boston Pizza and then they all went to West 49 and even Sam got to skateboard on the indoor skateboard park there! Chris used his Christmas gift cards and bought a W 49 shirt and a watch - Laurie bought himself a West 49 jacket - so they are both very happy and they had a nice afternoon out with dad :)
All in all a great day!
