This morning Lloyd and I went to Whyte Ave and walked along the Art Walk.....local artists had their work displayed all along the sidewalks.......we had a coffee and sat in the coffee shop window 'people watching' for a while......we went in a few of the stores but didn't buy anything....it was just a nice way to spend a Sunday morning together......
This afternoon I threw my camera case in the truck and took a drive by myself out to some of the township roads south of us.......every now and then I'd pull in to the side of the road and snap pictures of the scenery.....
I didn't get any pictures that I'm truly thrilled with though.........so we may drive out to the lake this evening if there is a nice sunset...I am just in the mood to take pictures constantly right now............
Lloyd and I drove out along some of the range roads this evening to take some photographs......I didn't find any hay bales I wanted to photograph, but we did stop by some of the lakes around here to photograph them as the sun was going down.....these last two pictures of the lake through the grasses are my favourites.
Is it possible to wear a cycle helmet and NOT look like a total dork???? I haven't ridden my bike for 3 years so it was weird getting back on.......but fun! and although I will never be an olympic cyclist, I can at least now go for cycle rides close to home with the kids :)
Is it a leaf fallen to the floor?????????????? NO it's the most amazing camouflaged butterfly!!!! But it refused to open it's wings so I could photograph the beautiful colours inside.......it's lucky it wasn't stepped on!
Some snaps of Laurie I found on the card from last week...drying off after a swim......and he ALWAYS has to pull a funny face at the end of any 'photo shoot'........
Cheeky seems to mean a different thing over here in Canada...most people seem to think it means 'naughty' or rude........but back home cheeky means kind of cute and silly and naughty but in a sweet funny way........not in a bad way.....
