Quad biking!!!!

On the quad bikes this evening!!!! Oliver loved it.........especially when I told him to take the lead and he could zoom in front!!!

I have a feeling this is going to be a bad year for storms......and every afternoon just before they arrive I get a migraine...another one now....not too severe but annoying...haven't taken imitrex yet.....want to run first but storm is about to arrive.......

This morning we went for breakfast with Val, then drove around South Cooking Lake (our village centre) and then collected Chris from school at 11:30am...then we went into town to some garage sales.....showed Olly our old house and then did some grocery shopping in Sobeys....

I will post details tomorrow....just don't feel like blogging tonight!

Oliver.....

This is my Nephew Oliver...he's 15...will be 16 in September....he's not as tall as I thought he'd be but he's useful to have around the place when you can't reach something ;)

As you can see by a few of these pictures....he's not keen on having his picture taken!

Wednesday night....

It's 8pm and yet it feels like about 4pm.....yet I'm really tired...its a strange day....

My Mom has gone to bed tired....Olly is outside playing baseball or something.....Lloyd is cutting the grass.....I took an imitrex earlier so I'm feeling yucky.....no run tonight which kind of frustrates me AGAIN........I think I will take a magazine out on the porch for a while......Mom brought me quite a few over to read....

I had some Frazzles (thanks Clare) and I had my jelly tots :) ........I haven't cooked dinner..no one seems to want anything so they can all make toast if they get hungry...no one seems to care about eating today!

I think Mom likes our house and land :) Olly has already been for a walk up by Marys land.....Sam is obsessed with the socks Mom brought over so she says she may as well not have brought anything else for him!!! Everyone got spoiled.......lots of pressies.......

Mom met my Hummingbirds...several of them...including two fighting over the feeder..the first tme I have seen two fight so that was cool! I don't think Mom realised quite how small they are!

Tomorrow I am meeting val for breakfast...I am so looking forward to that! Olly says he wants me to wake him up so he can come! I think Mom wants to stay here for a quiet day....

Oh and they met Charlie and Amber and Rosie...and the chickens......

I'm tired......I'll take pictures tomorrow and blog then!

Today!

Its 10am and I have to leave for the airport in three hours......I am not dressed....I want to vacuum and wash the floors before I leave.....but what am I doing? I'm sat at the computer reading posts on LP........

Must say though that it's good that I was because I saw Tara (CF MOMMY blog to the left) posting about some big blocks she needs to get rid of TODAY....they are PERFECT for preschool so I said I'd love them...and Lloyd is going to pick them up from her daycentre today :)

How wonderful!!!! The boys at preschool are going to LOVE them!!! The girls too I'm sure but they spend much of their time flitting around in dress-up clothes and its the boys that 'try' to build things with the foam blocks...which aren't really designed for building...and there are only about 5 of them......so these will be so so good...we don't really have a budget for any new toys or anything so this is perfect...thanks so much Tara..they will be well loved I promise you!

So Lloyd is going to go and pick them up after work today!

So yes sometimes its a good thing that I am lazy and sat at the computer instead of cleaning...

So Mom and Olly are in the air on their way to Canada....we will leave here just after lunch so we can go and see the airplanes for a while before the plane lands.....

Its a lovely warm sunny day for them to arrive here :)
