Another party...
Laurie just left for his party too! So just me and Susie here right now until Lloyd gets back! Its quiet! Susie is downstairs watching season one of Greys lol - all three of the older kids have started watching Greys now :)
My Friday - and so glad its a 3 day weekend!!!
It's Friday evening. Lloyd has just driven Chris to a party - he's going swimming in Millwoods and then to a sleepover...Sam and Abigail ahve gone with Lloyd for the ride...
I just got out of the bath...although I didn't enjoy the bath much.....I was trying to relax but it didn't help - I still feel stressed - I did the other day too...no idea why as I ahve nothing to be stressed about!
We were going to go to Lets Play today, but Val wasn't feeling well, and then Sam didn't want to go anywhere and then Abigail didn't want to go to LP...so I gave up lol! It was not meant to be! I packed the bag all ready to go last night but theres no point going if only I want to go!
All Sam and Abby want to do right now is paint and craft! So this morning we printed off colouring pages of turkeys (Abigails latest obsession!) and we painted them.....then we got out the Halloween rubber stamps and they stamped pictures of pumpkins and other things....
After lunch we made paper flowers from a kit we had - and then we wanted to make more so we used green straws and more tissue paper and we filled a vase with them :) I took a ton of pictures but there is something wrong with my camera and only one came out - so I'll take more and see whats up with my camera! The flowers look so cheery on my kitchen windowsill now that outside is just soooo BROWN!!!
After that we took a drive to get the mail and drop a couple of things over to Val. Then home and the children got home....usual after-school chaos!!! So then I disappeared to the bath for a while until Lloyd got home.
What else happened???? Oh, as of lunchtime today, Abigail is officially done with school and is homeschooled. Lloyd spoke to the Principal who is fine with it all, totally understands and is happy for Abby to re-enter school at any time if we'd like her to!
Oh and I was picked as 'parent of the week' on linking parents!!! Which basically means that for a few days people can post questions for me and I get to answer them :) so if you have anything you want to ask me feel free to post it there...or here :) lol! Some of the questions have been really good :)
Tonight I think I will scrapbook a little and then flop on the sofa with Lloyd and watch a movie or some more of Greys :)
It's Thanksgiving Weekend here - so Lloyd has three days off. Sunday we are planning to do our annual Fall photographs at Elk Island Park - the weather is supposed to be lovely!
Apart from that I don't think we have any big plans :) Just relaxing and enjoying a three day weekend!
Oh and last night was date night. We went to Chapters and sat by the fire in Starbucks chatting - I had a Pumpkin latte or whatever its called and it was delicious! Then we strolled around the mall...oh and I went to the new toy store in town too which hsa lots of cool toys! Then we ran into Wokbox and got take out, came home and ate...the kids all shared :) and we were in bed ASLEEP by 10pm :) we were both so tired! Still, it was a really nice evening :)

I baked....
I baked this afternoon - pumpkin bars with cream cheese frosting......pumpkin and walnut cupcakes and mini muffins and two large cakes. The house smells sooo good!! Abigail and Sam enjoyed licking out the bowl afterwards - Sam gave up with the spoon and just stuck his head in lol!
We were due to go swimming this morning, but Sams cold is still at the snotty nose stage and my ankle is still feeling bruised from Tuesday, so we stayed home - and it turned into a good day :)
Tomorrow we are off to Lets Play :)
bye bye...
5 or so ducks were on our pond this morning, taking a break on their flight South. They soon flew off as we approached though....
