Our climb...

...where as we climbed the steps of the proper trail!!! Well worth the climb no matter which trail you take as the view of the lake and mountains from up there is stunning. We've been to Moraine Lake several times and it always seems to start raining just as we leave. Indeed this time was no different and it started thundering while we at the top of the rock pile! Amazing how different the weather can be amongst the mountains. So very hot and sunny in Banff and yet when we got to Moraine Lake, the weather suddenly changed and it wasn't long before a storm arrived - then a few minutes down the highway, back in to amazing sunshine and heat....

The children played badminton while we had our picnic. It was sooooo hot though. Laurence was NOT impressed that Abigail had taken her top off, but Abigail is stubborn and sometimes the more you complain, the more she does her own thing.....

Catching up.....on blogs!!!

The children go back to school this week. Two go back tomorrow, one goes back on Wednesday. My two homeschoolers head back to their various classes in a couple of weeks, which means I have a couple of weeks of quiet. I am looking forward to catching up with everyone's blogs!!! I have been reading blogs now and then as much as I can, but I haven't had any time to comment at all this Summer as life has been much busier than I expected. I've had a wonderful Summer and I'm so sad it's over, but I am looking forward to catching up with all your news and getting back to commenting on your blogs again!!!
