We went downtown today to watch the Edmonton Cariwest Carnival.......Edmontons version of the Trinidad Carnival....or rather their version of Notting Hill Carnival......it wasn't quite Notting HIll but we had fun.....in these pictures the children are patiently waiting for the carnival parade to start. We went into Second Cup in the CWB building and had coffee and the children had a cookie each...it was funny walking in as all the girls behind the counter knew Lloyd by name.....Mr Popular lol! And they were all very pleased to meet his children :) It was nice seeing all the staff dressed up in West Indian costume!
