exciting month of learning....NOT

This coming month at kindergarten, the children will learn:

body parts like chin, fingernails, shoulder and wrist.

colours - red, blue, green, back and white

know the numbers 1 - 5 and match them to the correct number of objects

proper way to hold a pencil and cut with scissors

know the letters o, p and u.

so I guess theres no point sending Abigail for the whole of October.....I feel so sorry for her. It must be very frustrating and boring...and the newsletter doesn't mention what the teacher will do if the students already know all of this.....there is no alternative.

At least she has a week off of school in October while we go to Vancouver and Whistler.
