Monday

I am looking forward to tomorrow. I really need a day at home to do nothing....WHEN am I going to have a chance to use my sewing machine????????? Something always seems to come up!!!

We normally go swimming on Tuesdays, but we swapped it for today as Sam LOVES to go swimming, so it was a birthday treat - and WHAT a treat! They had the slide out, so Sam had a blast going down the slide into the waves....and they have a lot of new toys - like a canoe and various new floats....it was fun!

After swimming we headed to McDonalds for a treat lunch. Then after that we went to Sobeys to pick up sams birthday cake :) I'm really pleased with it! I'll post pictures later! I left Abby in charge of the Jumbo box of Cheerios and she got distracted and went to get herself a cup of water and forgot to pick the box back up, so once I had them strapped into the car I raced back in to grab the box she had left on the table by the window lol! OMG I was so paranoid about getting the cake home in one piece I didn't even notice she didn't have the box!

Oh, as we were leaving the house this morning...well, we got to the end of the road and I realised I had packed everything except underwear for me! No bra and no knickers!!! lol..so we drove back and I ran inside and my Mom phoned, so I grabbed it quickly and explained the kids were in the car and I was just running back inside as I'd forgotten my underwear lol - my Mom thought that sounded funny! I was wearing my bathing suit you see ;)

After Sobeys we headed home and both Abigail and Sam fell asleep in the car!

Got home and I put dinner in the oven...chicken chasseur....Mmmmmmm

Then washed the floors and now am relaxing with a cuppa as the kids came home from school and Laurie made me a coffee.

They all seemed to have a good day - although Chris STILL wants to homeschool! We shall see!

I caught up with news on LP....

Susie got her new recorder today and played me the first song she has learned - it's called 'Just B' and thats exactly what it is lol - just one note ;) I filmed it anyway and will add that later ;)

I am TIRED this afternoon! Really tired! Laurence is flying his 'best ever' paper aeroplane....a modified design from the Dangerous Book for Boys......

So tomorrow I just want to relax....Sam can have the playdoh out...I want to make a banana and walnut loaf as I ahve too many bananas going brown.....and I want to work on my Simple Abundance workbook.

Anyway today ahs been fun - my Mom phoned to say Happy Birthday to Sam.....and my Sister Clare also phoned to say Happy Birthday - so I will add pictures for everyone of birthday cake etc etc later!
