I bought this yucky old brown wooden tv cabinet for $19. on Monday. I knew it would be perfect for storage!! Originally I was planning on putting it in the basement, but then I thought it would fit PERFECTLY in this little 'nook' between the dormer windows.
I cleaned it out and then sprayed it with a gloss white spray.
It's on wheels too which is really handy as I didn't paint the floor inside this nook as it was FULL of old board games and a sewing machine and various other bits and pieces!! So now I can just wheel it out and get the floor painted :)
The board games are now much easier to access and will be used more often - especially the educational ones....and the cupboard looks much neater than having things stacked on the floor!
As soon as the basement is finished I won't have games IN my bedroom at long last ;) But for now I'm really pleased with this :)
Oh and on the wall beside this cupboard/ nook you can see the 'target' that Sam made for his Nerf guns ;) Just in case you were wondering what that was ;)
