Making dreamcatchers...

One of the things we did today was to make a dream catcher.
It wasn't an easy project, but together we did it!!  In the end it had lovely tassels and feathers attached and is now hanging in Abby's bedroom :)

Handmade birthday card

This beautiful card arrived for me today...it is handmade by my wonderful friend Arleen in Calgary!  Arleen always credits me for encouraging her to get started in card making - and gratitude journaling!!  But she only has herself to thank for her amazing talent - the card is stunning!  I have always admired her work online, but seeing a card in real life is wonderful!

I have never met Arleen but we hope to change that this year and make this the year we finally get together!!!

Little visitor....

As we were heading out this afternoon, we spotted this little guy sitting
on the roof of the bus shelter at the end of our driveway.
He just sat there and let me snap some pictures of him and didn't seem to mind at all :)  Maybe he was saying thank you for all the nuts I put out for him the other day - I put out a big bowl full of hazel nuts etc that I thought the squirrels might like :)

Our Wednesday.....

My poor little guy isn't feeling too great today.  We were supposed to spend today at the museum but we decided to stay home this morning as he was feeling a bit run down - as you can see in the picture above.  Just a bit of a cold really but we'll save the museum for next week instead!

Instead we stayed home for the morning, watched a movie and made crafts. Sam made monsters, while Abigail made more clothes for her doll.  Then we made Valentines.

Abigail and Sam have a whole long list of people to give Valentines to this year...and we have a few different ones we are making.  This is just one of them.  These were fun to make :)

We did have to go out this afternoon though!  I had an appointment downtown, so we made the most of the drive and went to the Bottle Depot with the recycling, and also went to the Reuse Centre and stocked up with supplies for Sculpture classes and other art classes.

Headed home via Michaels for canvases for tomorrows Vision boards class, and then on to Trish's house to pick up eggs - I always get my eggs from her now - farm eggs and they are sooooo good!  Yum!!  So much nicer than store bought eggs!

Tonight I was totally exhausted and drained from my day - wanted to go and meet Darryl for Chinese, but was fed up and tired....and still had to get a vision board prepped for tomorrow, so we made plans for tomorrow night instead.  Abigail helped me set up the art room ready for the class and I created an Inspiration board (more-so than a vision board) for myself:
