Today I.....

Today I went to the dog park with Rosie and Susannah after taking Rosie to the dog wash first :)

Today I hoped the sun would shine all day - and it did :)

Today I dreamed about my IG crush lol - it was a very strange dream but I'm glad he was in it :)

Today I forgot Susannah had a $100 bill of mine - so it was a nice surprise to remember :)

Today I heard two gorgeous children who were happy to be home from their weekend away :)

Today I said Happy Anniversary to the kids as we arrived in Canada 10 years ago today.

Today I read something in Joeys voice (from Friends) - a message from Jason, and it made me laugh :)

Today I watched My two youngest get overly excited over the chocolate fountain :)

Today I believed Summer could truly last forever :)  It was such a gorgeous day :)

Today I felt tired.  Really REALLY tired, and yet content at the same time :)

Today I wondered What my crazy dreams mean...

Today I bought Tide and Melatonin in the Walmart Anniversary sale.  And fruit etc for the chocolate fountain.

Today I cleaned LOTS of laundry - and the downstairs bathroom.  Tidied up my room and some of the kitchen until Laurence kicked us all out :)

Today I was me.

Today we celebrate 10 years in Canada :)

Ten years ago today, we left England to start our new lives in Canada.  It was a dreadful day full of stress, disasters with tickets, luggage, immigration etc etc....but in the end we left the airport and drove in two taxi's up Calgary Trail to Downtown Edmonton and to the Edmonton House Suite Hotel - our home for the next 6 or 8 weeks.

I remember walking into the hotel room and seeing the twinkly lights of Edmonton out of the window - it was like being in New York :)

Life may not have followed the plan I had in my head, but I will never regret my marriage or relationship with Lloyd - I learned so much from it, and have two GORGEOUS children because of it.

Lloyd also brought us to this amazing country which is now my home.  I love it here and am sooooo happy here.  For that I will always be grateful to him.

Tonight we celebrated by opening up the new chocolate fountain and having fondue - with strawberries, melon, cake and mini donuts :)  The kids LOVED it :)

Thank you to my fabulous friend Lorraine for the fountain, which I promise will get lots (far too much sigh...) of use :)

My view this evening...

Two cute visitors to our yard:

Walk at the dog park...

We picked Rosie up and took her in to town to the Dog Wash - she has been in the pond the last few days and was stinky again!  Then after there we headed to the dog park to give her a run and let her dry off!  It was a gorgeous warm and sunny Fall day and the park was fairly busy.

Whyte Ave in the Fall....

Susannah and I went to the 'Off-Whyte End of Summer Rummage Sale' (with food trucks, and kids activities in the park) today - it was a busy place - and the trees along Whyte were beautiful.  we had some lunch and a nice stroll round before heading home.
