'nuff said............

This is what boys get up to when left alone in the house for longer than an hour.....sadly they know how to use this Mac computer better than I do and so yes I come home to find they have created a youtube video :(

I'm almost too embarrassed to admit they are my Sons........and yes they HAVE been told how dangerous nut-kicking can be...but hey...they are boys...they find this kind of thing funny.........and I apologise for the bad language....I think that was dubbed in afterwards because I KNOW my precious little 11 year old Son does NOT normally swear.......

No doubt Laurences offspring will now be born with two heads or something weird but hey - their friends think they are hilarious.....

Please picture a rolling eyes smiley here!

A bath for two........

Last night Lloyd ran a bath for Sam but then Sam changed his mind and didn't want a bath - he fell asleep instead....so I had the bath....it was lovely....I lay in the bath for about 15 minutes.....then I saw a black thing at the bottom of the bath swimming up between my legs...I looked closer only to see that it was a BIG black spider!!!!!! In my bath!!! Bloody swimming!!! Well, actually not swimming as it was most definitely drowned...but thats not the point!!! I had only shaved one leg!!! So I slowly get out of the bath and walk into the bedroom and tell Lloyd that I have been sharing my bath for the last 15 minutes with a bloody spider!!!! He comes into the bathroom and scoops it out for me and says 'You're so funny Jane'...which is odd in itself as he NEVER calls me Jane....Lloyd never uses my name - which means its noticeable when he does! He calls me Baby - yes vomit if you want to but I love it :)

Anyway, where was I??? Ah yes - so he scooped out the spider and we look at it - and its BIG...now, it isn't big in the British spider kind of big...but for here this spider is BIG...because Alberta doesn't get big spiders - just pathetic little ones....its normally too dry for big ones....but maybe this year has been so damp they have grown......BUGGER!!!!!

The ONLY person I like sharing baths with is Lloyd!!! Spiders bugger off!!!

Chris....

Shockingly Chris let me take some pictures of him this afternoon....geez the heat must be going to his head ;) that said, he is now flaked on my big chair beside me......face buried...exhausted....life as a teenager must be hard work ;)

Susannah....again :)

Susannah is the easiest to photograph because she is always thrilled to have the opportunity to 'model' for me :) She loves me to set my camera to fast shoot so it sounds liek the paparazzi :)

Butterfly delight.........

This little guy joined us in the yard this afternoon...enjoying the gorgeous weather!!!

Susie.......

Susannah this afternoon......

I forgot!

I forgot to update on Dan......the company Dan spent the day with yesterday only has work for the summer atm......and Dan isn't interested in that, so he is going to go home to England in two weeks time...I;m not quite sure if that is a permanent thing or a temporary thing but we have made it clear that we can only sponsor one person......and right now no one else is interested in immigrating..but that may not always be the case...so we can't guarantee that we will always be able to offer this opportunity. Thats said, he is always welcome to come and stay for a holiday!

One good thing that came out of his day there yesterday is that he met a girl called AJ who is having a party this weekend and she has invited Dan...so he is going to that on Saturday night and will be crashing there for the night!!! We were going to Jasper this weekend but will cancel our trip because we all feel this is a great opportunity for him to see life for a 20-something year old in Edmonton!! I think AJ is 24....

So Dan talks about coming back here to live BUT I would have to say that I am doubtful.........I think he will go home and get back into his normal life very fast......and thats fine if thats what makes him happy! I think this trip has done him a lot of good - I have seen him grow more confident in himself and more adventurous and he talks about traveling etc so if nothing else, this trip has allowed him to see that there is life outside of Yeovil....and that he is capable of a life outside of Yeovil.....

A better day....

Lloyd went into work late this morning - he stayed and had coffee with me and got Abby and Sam up and dressed for me - a lovely way to start the day :)

Yesterday was spent with a whiney toddler who was throwing up.....this morning Sam was miraculously better! He even had plenty of energy despite not eating anything yesterday! Amazing!

I took Abigail to school, and then Dan, Sam and I went out for breakfast....Grace (our Waitress) asked if Dan was my brother!!!

After we picked Abby up from preschool, we went into town....I exchanged two pairs of jeans for Abigail as Lloyd had bought the wrong size....bought some socks for Sam.....posted off a package......we had a drink in the food court (while Dan decided if he wanted an A&W burger or not.....and then we headed to Broadmoor Lake for a walk.....it was such a gorgeous day - I think they said 21c today???? The leaves are coming out on the trees and everything is green....we saw several butterflies at the park too......

Then we headed home......kids just got home and we are all heading out to have lemondae on the porch :)

Lloyd plans to work on the dog run tonight....I plan to work on my BOM challenge - I have to decorate an album cover for my 'book of me'.

I think I will take the camera outside with us......

I hope you have all had a great day enjoying the gorgeous weather :)
