Message in a Bottle....

Instead of a Valentine card this year, I made Lloyd a 'message in a bottle'....remembering that 'our movie' is Message In A Bottle.  I used a mini ice cream syrup bottle, and added a little sand.  I added tiny sea shells and a single paper rose.  Then I sprayed some paper with glimmer mist and wrote my message to Lloyd.....I tied that with red thread and dropped the scroll into the bottle.

I placed the bottle into a little red bag.

Lloyd says he thought it was extremely romantic - probably the most romantic gift/ card I've given him.....because of how it's connected to us personally I think :)  and he says he was really impressed :)

He's been really sappy and lovely all day so I guess I scored points with this one :)  lol!  Even though I did cancel our plans for the day!!

I love you Lloyd

Send a little love on Valentines Day.....

Abigail turns 8.....

Abigail had her 8th birthday yesterday...she was very happy with her birthday gifts - she wanted a play snowboard - which she got for our sledding hill.  She also had an easel for drawing and painting, DS game, books, money, jewellery.....

Her treat for the day was to go to Chuck E Cheese.  I have only ever been there during the week - on a school day (oh the blessings of being a homeschooler) so going on a Saturday was a little (lol) different!!!  The food there is dreadful, the noise is horrible and it's basically just a big waste of money - but kids LOVE it......sigh....it's a casino for kids - yep - get 'em while they're young!!!

Lloyd and I sat and chatted while the children played and frequently brought us their ticket winnings to look after.  I slipped out for a while and headed to the book store next door.....

Home for birthday cake after picking big brother Chris up from his sleepover/ filming/ editing day....

Happy Birthday Abby :)
