My Wednesday,

Today Abigail and I went out for a few ours with my friend Samantha. WE picked her up at 11am and we headed to Homesense to have a snoop around. Samantha is looking for a new quilt for her bed....I was looking for towels - I also found some little eggs to hang from my little holiday tree on the hallway table.

After that we went to Wokbox for lunch....Abby and I share some yummy lemon chicken and noodles.

We sat and chatted until Abigail decided that she was really REALLY bored and then we headed over to the scrapbook store. I DID ask Samantha to control me in there but to be honest she didnt do a very good job and it really is her fault!!! Although really I only bought a few sheets of paper and some stickers to send to our sponsor children in Peru and Africa.

Abigail got chatting to 'some guy' in the store....and when it was time to go he came running to open the door for her!!!!! This 'guy' was all of 5 years old!!!!! He came running to open the door for my daughter!!!! What a gentleman!!!!! I was so impressed! He was such a cool dude too - I think he was impressed with Abigail's pink hair ;) Oh and since we got home she has added a tattoo to her neck lol - I have to take a piccy!

We dropped Samantha home and raced back home.....had a cup of tea and threw in some more laundry...Samantha phoned for my Avon order and then I ran out to get Chris from drama club....now I'm cooking dinner (honey dijon salmon with new potato's and asparagus)

Sam is asleep here on my lap! He's like a little hot water bottle!

I am worn out! I had a lovely day Samantha - so much fun! Thank you so much for lunch!

Chris got in the car after drama cub and said oh wow (all concerned) are you ok? you don't look well" Thanks Chris!!!! I'm just tired lol! The tablets have me so tired and drowsy - but Lloyd has made me cut the dose so hopefully in a day or two things will improve!

my atc piccy

I have to make some atc's for a swap I'm taking part in, and each one has to have a picture of me on it. An atc is an artist trading card - it's like a scrapbook page in miniature - each card is the size of a playing card. Teeny tiny! Like a miniature work of art!

This swap is being organized by Glenda - one of my FAVOURITE artists over at www.scrappershaven.ca

Anyway, I'm thinking of using these little pictures on my atc's for the swap.....I've been sat here plaing about with iphotobooth taking pictures of myself - I was going to take some silly ones but I think I'll just use one like this.....this is me....this afternoon. Tired.....feeling a little inspired having strolled around the scrapbooking store with Samantha - OMG Samantha had never been in a scrapbooking store before!!!! She's just getting in to scrapbooking and is just now starting to organize all her stuff ready to start her first album...I hope the store didn't over power her and put her off lol....I haven't been there fort months and months and really need to go there for some inspiration.....I'm going to enjoy working on these atc's for Glenda's swap....a nice little challenge to get me going again :)

This is the youngster walking off from the Momma towards our side woods by the dog run. The dog run isn't used in the winter months.....

Moose pics

So this is where I start boring you with a series of moose pictures lol!

Poor Susannah must have been a bit scared this morning as the two big moose must have made her jump! They were right outside the window by the porch when she saw them and I think it was her day to go and feed Charlie :)

Some of the pictures look 'steamy' because Lloyd had had a shower and the when he opened the bathroom door all the bedroom windows steamed up!!! So then I started hanging out the bedroom window lol!

This mornings wake up call....

The children woke us up this morning, camera in hand, to say we had a moose outside of the house. Turns out we had two. Mommy and youngster. They had been by the front window and then walked around the side to eat my Lilac bush!!! By the time I was awake enough, we could only see them by standing on my bed and seeing the tips of their ears over the roof of the garage! Then Mommy looked at us over the roof and continued to eat :)

Baby walked over to our vegetable garden while Mom continued to eat and then Mom walked the other side of the dog run over to the side wood....and they would have met up in that wood....

What a great way to start the day :)

Luckily Lloyd has a strategy meeting all day with BCAL so he was home to have coffee with me and got to see them too :)

Here you can see the Mom peering up at us over the garage roof which kind of shows you how tall she is!!! Don't forget you can click on the picture to see the larger version! The light is poor because it was early morning and I was clicking pictures fast too worried they would run off to fiddle with the camera!
