My funny boy.......

And a two year old creates....

Please forgive the odd 'smile'...he seems to think this is how you smile at a camera ;)

This is S's finished tshirt! He did the squiggles and I drew around his hand and then did a hand print....

The creation continues.....

A. working on her tshirt.......and the finished artwork.......

Fabric painting.....

Abigail has been asking to do some fabric painting for a while now and so we picked up some paints this week and finally found time to use them today! I am so impressed with the tshirt she painted today - al by herself - I think for a five year old this is REALLY good!!! Those fabric paints are NOT easy to use!

These paints are dimensional so will be slightly puffy after they are dry!

Play Foam fun.....

Making fudge!

After two days of doctor visits and hospital laboratory tests, we had a day at home to catch up with some fun activities! First of all we made a tray of Oreo Fudge this morning! Very delicious!!!!

Say cheese.....

Sam is starting to like having his picture taken...but unfortunately this is the 'grin' I get when he looks at the camera.......to find out what he is doing holding up the tshirt, you will have to check out our other blog - homeschooling first grade!

FUDGE!!!!

We made fudge today.....mmmmmmmm yummy oreo fudge...so so easy...its just chocolate chips melted with a pinch of salt and a tin of condensed milk......then you add 2 cups of roughly chopped oreo cookies (we used the mini oreos).....press into a parchment lined tray and refrigerate...

The kids LOVE it......as you can see from Sammy's face above!

Todays page.......

This is for Glendas weekly challenge at Scrappershaven.....we had to use up the different alphabet stickers and chipboards etc to make a title....so I used up mine to make FOURTEEN...for a page about Christopher.

Friday.....

So Laurence is off school today.....he probably could have gone but he wanted to stay home so I figure a mental health day was called for ;) Susannah has gone back to school though!

Tonight I have my date with Samantha :) I am so looking forward to it - as tired as I am and as much as I would also love not having to drive into town in the dark and would be more than happy to snuggle up with Lloyd for the evening, I am so looking forward to going out for dinner with her...we're going to do a little shopping first - and go to the Christmas displays at Greenlands too as she hasn't been there at all this year....

Last night I had to attend another meeting about the Christmas party....it was a loooong meeting and involved a LOT of moaning about the community league board and their demands.....but the party seems to be coming together - mainly thanks to Tricia who has really worked miracles! Lloyd said I should get her a gift to thank her, so I will do that....maybe tonight!

So we set up the Christmas decorations in the hall on the 28th....and we have another meeting next Thursday...and then the party is on the 2nd.....

Val - are you bringing your crew to the party????? I hope so...its $2 a child for non members and free for members (membership is $15 for a family for the year and gets you into the free movie nights every month too! and gets discount on dance and karate classes etc) Rhonda - I hope you can make it too as you will be living here soon :)

What are you all up to this weekend? We have no plans really right now......although Jeff is bringing his little girl over for the afternoon on Sunday....to meet Charlie and play with Abigail.....

Today I have to phone a few different companies up and ask for donations for the party....yuck - hate that job but it has to be done......

I think I will make breakfast first though!

Welcome to the world little boy!

Welcome to the world Carter :) I think you just made your Grandma and Grandpa very VERY happy little one!
