Snapshots from the last few days......

I finally got the pinboard and mirror up that have been hanging around my room waiting...
Love it :)

Playing with my food:

Although a few homeschoolers are protesting about the Education Act changes for good reasons, I am saddened because far too many are simply upset about this because they are homophobic and don't want to tell their children that being gay is acceptable.....

AppleJacks Mmmmm:

Fabulous icicles today after three days of snow:

Rosie was my companion outside while I cleared the driveway and path.  She loved catching the snow as I threw it in the air from the shovel.  Abby brought me out a lovely cup of tea while I shovelled:

Oh Rosie had sooooo much fun in the snow with me today:

Local barn:

I think this was taken Friday or Saturday during the day just as it started to snow again....within a couple of hours the snow had started to pile up:

Abby had an amazing type at the 80's style birthday party for our friend Miss T this weekend.  Of course the highlight is the amazing pancakes Trish makes them - how do the rest of us Moms compete with THAT????  :)

All the girls in their 80's clothing for the party - with their hair all done....oh boy the 80's were BAD hahaha   but so much fun:

This is my favourite picture from today...when I was outside shovelling, Rosie and I went down to take pictures of the icicles.  So beautiful:

Snapshots from the last week!!

Abigail baked a REALLY amazing cake last week :)

Darth Vader visited us to do some dog training with Rosie:

We seem to have had to do a LOT of driving here there and everywhere!!  So glad that Laurence can share the driving with me - he is SUCH a great driver - mature and responsible:

Spring will soon be here.  I love my collection of watering cans:

Lovely local farm:

Teagan gave me this GORGEOUS picture she created from a sequin art kit:

80's party!!!

On Saturday Abigail went off to Miss Teagans 80's fashions sleepover birthday party!!  Oh boy what a sight that was - seeing all these girls dressed up in 80's clothes and hair styles!!  :)

We were all invited to stay for drinks and pizza before leaving Abby for the night :)  Trish made me one of my FAVOURITE Pina Colada's in her Margaritaville machine:

I snapped pictures of their goats - but the llama refused grrrrr!!

So did Laurence hahaha:

The food was all in 80's colours too haha:

Then we headed out and picked up Susannahs friend for a sleepover, headed home and Laurences girlfriend arrived and I headed out for the evening :)

Fun Saturday evening!!  Good food, good drinks...good company for everyone!!

On Sunday I woke up EARLY (haha Trish)  and headed out to pick Abby up...I left everyone else sleeping.  I stayed at Trish's for coffee - said no to alcohol in my coffee at that time of day - as tempting as it seemed hahaha....and we stayed to chat sooooo long that McD's had finished serving breakfast by the time we left - so we ended up at Timmys:

I think this was the first time Abby did NOT win on her coffee cup!!

It was nice having that one on one time with Abigail to sit and chat over breakfast :)

I knew she was going to be very tired by mid afternoon...she wouldn't nap so I ended up having to send her to bed at supper time - poor little thing.

Altered Jar class

On Friday I ran an Altered Jar class based on this jar and the others that I altered a few years back:

Here are some of the jars created in the class.  It was a lovely class and actually ran an hour longer than planned because everyone was enjoying themselves and happy to continue!!  I was in no rush to go anywhere and had plenty of empty jars, so we just carried on until everyone was finished and had painted as many as they liked.  Ages ranged from 5 years to adult:

there were more jars than this but I haven't uploaded pictures of them all yet!!
