Lloyd got home earlier than expected today so we decided to go out for lunch - so we went to the Esso garage to show him where we go for breakfast with Val each week......I had pineapple chicken with fried rice and steamed vegetables and it was GORGEOUS...the people who own the restaurant on Hwy 21 also run a Chinese restaurant in downtown Edmonton, so the food is GOOD!!! :)
On the way to the restaurant I took some pictures of the flooded fields...wow the thaw is hitting the land hard this year.....it looked like a lake! We saw several birds of prey on the way home.......it has been snowing all day......light wet horrid snow :(
The girls are on their way to the theatre now....they ahve to be there 2 hours prior to showtime for rehearsals...then on the way home Lloydis picking Chris up from badminton........
So we had to get the girls ready in their first costumes for the show - and all their stage make up - YUCK!!! I HATE seeing little girls in make up - even subtle make up, butu for stage they ahve to have heavy make up including foundation and mascara and everything and it looks nasty on little girls.......so I took some pictures of how not nice they look lol!!!!
Apart from that we cleaned and dusted and caught up on laundry and the floors and tided bedrooms and got the house straight.....Lloyd got a phone call to say his contract is signed so he COULD go back to work tomorrow - but he has told them he is going back on Thursday and so tomorrow we will go out and do something and make the most of his last day at home!
I should go get some supper for the boys and have abath before we have to head out to the theatre.....
