So the architect has been and gone.......we should have the drawings done and ready for next week when we will meet with Tia (the architect) and Andy from the sunroom company to go over the drawings and add anything extra...for today Tia just measured everywhere and got an idea of what we wanted...what appliances we wanted etc etc...as she has to draw in where electrical outlets/ central vac/ water/ gas lines etc have to go........
We are not sure about whether we will go with a walk-out basement or just a normal basement....and we don't know what is happening with the roof line either.....
She went outside and took pictures and she measured the rooms in all 3 floors too.....we talked to her about building on top of the garage as well and so they are going to dig out around the garage a little to see what the foundations are like to support a second floor....
While she was here a guy arrived about the septic system...bad timing really but at least Lloyd was home for it........he was looking at the trench and seeing where it all is so that when we dig the new basement it won't be an issue...he was also talking about putting a new septic system in......so we aren't sure what we will do about that....
Now I need to eat dinner because I've hardly eaten today and I'm STARVING!!!!!
