Day three in Vegas...

Today Laurence and I headed to the Stratosphere and also spent time at Fremont Street.  The temperature got to about 32c in the end today and was completely GORGEOUS!!!  It's kind of bizarre being in a place so dry that they only have astro turf for grass though!!!  

We had lunch in a 50's style diner where the girls were dressed up and every so often would sing!  One of the girls came and sat by Laurence while she sang :)

New agreement signed...

The US has now become a Province of Canada and therefore Canadians will benefit from equal pricing, lower travel costs, easier travel and more Pottery Barn stores...US citizens will benefit by becoming Canadian..and who doesn't want THAT???  lol....

Waking up in Vegas....

Another day in this crazy city...very grateful for the INCREDIBLE weather we are having here...the experiences we are having and the memories we are making.....definitely a holiday we will never forget!!  The bus trip home tonight was memorable on it's own...the bus driver was telling everyone to hold on to the person next to them - if they know them good, if they don't know them, then make a new friend - because what happens here - stays here ;)

Thankful in Vegas...

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving...mine was very long but very exciting - I am very grateful to have been able to take my Son to Las Vegas for a few days for his birthday week. 

We were up by 3am and at the airport and checked in by 5am and yet we were still walking 

'The strip' just before 1am this morning :) 

A looooong day but indeed so much to be thankful for.

Homeschool Climbing class...

Abby and Sam started their new climbing class today at the indoor climbing centre.  

They loved it - Sam even won the game at the end of the session :)

They go weekly for ten weeks now!!

1. What's your favorite meal to serve on a chilly autumn evening?   Something in the crockpot - a soup probably - maybe my potato and bacon soup :)  Served with yummy crispy wholewheat buns!!

2. Are you a creature of habit? Explain. Most of the time - although I am also quite spontaneous :)

3. What food product (no longer readily available) do you remember and miss from days gone by? Something from England probably - like instant gravy or instant custard powder :)

4. What's something you've lost that you've never been able to find? Any theories as to what happened?  I lost my interest in scrapbooking, and I've never found it again...I just found I prefer mini albums and art journaling instead :)

5. Zoo~circus~ carnival...your favorite? Zoo - its a whole family day out - educational, fun, enjoyed on a  sunny day, relaxing, you get to have a picnic and ice cream and make fabulous memories!!

6. What song makes you feel instantly happy? Fisher - Its a Beautiful Life

7. To what extent are you an argumentative person? Not very often unless someone pisses me off...and people don't piss me off very often.  I'm a very easy going and laid back person generally...unless you are a toxic idiot and then its likely I will argue with you :)  

8. Insert your own random thought here. Peanut butter on toast is YUMMY!!!

It will take me a few days to get all my inventory online, so please bear with me,  but I will get there eventually!!  I have more photos to take tomorrow in good light and a few canvases to finish up tomorrow - and still the composition books to take pictures of tomorrow - and I want to get some notecards made up from prints too.  But all in all I'm really happy that I've finally got it up and running - people are starting to look at it, my paypal account is up and running so I can accept credit card payments too...

I plan to sell some of my photographs printed up, some postcards made up, altered composition books, canvases, prints, and some of the altered boxes I've been working on for the craft sales in November...

I will also be selling seasonal items as and when the time comes.  For now though I am adding the inventory I have which is mainly canvases.  Please pass on the link to my Etsy page and I would love it if you could add me as a favourite when visiting my store!

The best kind of Saturday :)

We are having the best kind of Saturday.....lazing on the bed having a Greys Anatomy marathon....some really good episodes today - and right now it's the AMAZING episode after Callie's car accident....where they are trying to save her life and the life of her baby...I keep flitting between crying and laughing (If you've seen the episode you'll understand why......

Gawd I love this show - it gets better and better with every episode.....I think I'm now head over hills in lust with Mark Sloane...which means I've moved on from McDreamy at the beginning, to Dr Karev......and now to Dr Sloane.....

Geez I'm so fickle hahahah  ;)

Anyway Lexi just sang 'Breathe' to Mark when he was crying on the stairs....wooooow is there anything more sexy than a man in tears??????  Hmmmm I don't know what it is but there is something sooooo sexy about a man able to show his emotions and feelings like that lol....ppfft even on a tv show....
