My girls....Amber and Rosie........Amber is 'blowing coat' right now......meaning all her white under fur is coming out.....you can see in the pictures the big lumps of loose white fur coming through her golden outer coat........you groom her and then its there again....and my yard is covered in little wads of white soft fur...................For anyone ever considering a golden...these are the things you need to know BEFORE you get one........they don't just shed the odd hair...once or twice a year they 'blow coat- and lose big lumps of under fur.......all over your house!!!!! You can groom and groom but its there..........if you are overly house proud or don't have time for regular grooming, then they aren't the dog for you............
I don't mind....they're worth it :)
In the pictures above they are watching Lloyd who has a plate of sausages for them.....naughty really but they get so much exercise it shouldn't matter lol! And it was a great way to get them to be together for a picture!!!
