We get a lot of birds of prey flying over our house but they are often too fast for me to get my camera, change lense and get ready to take the picture.....Laurie saw this Hawk coming over from the back though so I had time to get organized..............By the time I was ready it was hovering above the house and front yard circling....such grace............................beautiful.......These Hawks were named after William Swainson who was an early 19th Century British illustrator of natural history................
