Van Gogh

Last year we studied the life of Dutch artists Van Gogh ....we spent the week of his birthday learning all about him and then creating our own works of art...we also studied sunflowers and planted sunflower seeds...

This March the Muttart Conservatory is having a Dutch Celebration and a Van Gogh Impersonator will be a part of it....I think we will definitely go along!

Sunday, March 25 – Cultural Event

· Musical entertainment, crafts and fun are planned during our Tulip Time event. See the delightful Wooden Shoe Dances and listen to the Harmonica Rascals.

· Children can search for wooden shoes and enter to win a great Dutch prize.

· A local plant expert will speak on Edmonton’s’ tulips--how to grow, where to plant and common questions for gardeners.

· Plus, tulips throughout the Show Pyramid and Temperate Pyramid will be featured including new and unusual varieties from Holland.

· This year celebrates the wonders and art of one of the most famous of the Dutch painters Vincent van Gogh. Watch for a special tribute to this distinctive artist, with our van Gogh impersonator and informative talks.
