Lloyd and I went to the Home and Garden show today at the Agricom....we went last year as well. It was ok.......very busy.....thats what I hate about here...when we first moved here it was so quiet everywhere...no line ups, no traffic......now its always busy everywhere.....we wandered around and spoke to a few people about things like our septic system, sunrooms...oh and we got a quote for a swimming pool.....$75,000 for the pool and $75,000 for the roof that slides off in summer....so uh NO we won't be getting that this year......lol!
What did I buy.....actually the only thing I bought was some Daffodils for the canadian cancer society.....a pot of them for $7......Lloyd had wanted to get me some downtown but he didn't get the email about ordering them this year so when the email came to collect your orders it was too late :( Still, I got some...so I have a touch of Spring in my kitchen window now :)
Last year I bought some fake Daffs and had them in a vase in my windowsill....I wonder where they are....I should get them out!
So after we got some free Reactine (six boxes yay!) we came home. Sam was desperate to get outside in the puddles again...so we all went outside and walked around in the puddles...and took Charlie the pig for a walk and Amber came too....although Amber (who had rolled in something that stinks - lovely!) was only interested in the ittle bit of cheese sandwich Sam had in his fist and so spent the whole walk with her nose as close as possible to Sams hand WAITING for the perfect opportunity to steal the sandwich......which by this time was a fist of mush to be honest!
Oh....I did buy the Edmonton Journal which I plan to sit and read in a while...with a nice cup of tea :)

I am so tired this afternoon...I don't know if it was the crowds or what but I was so glad to leave the Agricom today and come home.......Lloyd wants me to go out on the quads in all the puddles but I think I'm going to just have a cup of tea and curl up with the journal.....
